Mrs. Angela Kaping has been the Librarian at St. Agnes for 8 years. Mrs. Kaping meets with all St. Agnes Academy students on a weekly basis; even the preschool classes visit the library to learn about library rules and listen to stories.

Mrs. Kaping has implemented the STAR READING and ACCELERATED READER programs here at St. Agnes. In 2009 the ACCELERATED READING program went on-line. St. Agnes now has access to over 120,000 AR tests. Students take yearly STAR tests to set their reading range. One new benefit of taking AR on-line is that students are able to test on any staff approved book there is an AR test for. It should be at their level and have the appropriate points as discussed with their teacher and Mrs. Kaping. These books may be from the classroom library, SAA Library, the Alliance Public Library or the student's home library. The St. Agnes Library is a vital part of the school, with over 7,000 books for students and staff to utilize. The library depends on the Scholastic Book Fair and monetary donations every year to help keep it up to date.
