Mrs. Jenell Martinez is married to Mick Martinez. They have two grown sons and two granddaughters: Hayli, age 10 and Makenzi, age 4. They have been residents of Alliance for 29 years. Mrs. Martinez received her Bachelors of Education degree in 1998 from Chadron State College. Mrs. Martinez was a student teacher at St. Agnes. After graduating she taught one year in Edgemont, South Dakota and has been at St. Agnes since. Mrs. Martinez enjoys walking, reading, water aerobics and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughters Mrs. Martinez has enjoyed working with the recycling program at St. Agnes Academy.  She believes the school has gained a special awareness for recycling in our community. Mrs. Martinez enjoys coming to work every day. She loves sharing her gift of teaching and learning from her students.
