Stop Hunger Now Food Packaging Project |

On Saturday, March 9th, over 50 volunteers from Holy Rosary came together to help package 10,000 meals for people in the West African country of Burkina Faso. The project was chaired by Dona Essay and Trish Koch. The event started with the group being educated about world hunger and the logistics of getting the available food to where it is needed most. It took only an hour and a half to do the packaging. The volunteers ranged from ages ten to eighty.

This ministry collects used items that are sold at reasonable prices to help those in need and to raise funds for the parish. Workers are needed to sort and sell on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Persons are needed for evening telephone prayer line. Persons are willing to pray for persons' intentions following notification and pass the information on to the next available person on the list.

Food Pantry Collection and Delivery |
|
Volunteers coordinate the collection of the food at the entry of the church and will deliver the food once a month to the designated location.

This committee oversees our parish mission of making a positive difference in the commmunity and the world. Activities include donations to the community food pantry, and our donations/prayer for our sister parish in Haiti.

Funeral Dinner Food Donation |
|
Voluteers provide a salad or dessert for dinner following a funeral.

Building and Grounds Committee |
|
Volunteers assess needs and provide expertise in the maintenance of buildings and parish/school grounds |

This committee organizes activities that enhance family life in the parish. Activities include the Christmas food boxes given to those in need, MOMs ministry, and Valentine boxes sent to new college students/military inductees.

This group is dedicated to praying the Rosary and meditating on the mysteries of the life of Jesus. |
This group meets monthly to crochet and pray for those who are in special need. Each completed lap blanket is donated to a parishioner in need.
