Assist at masses with distributing the Body and Blood of Christ to the members of the community gathered.

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God during celebrations of the Mass or Prayer Services.

Hospitality Ministers and Greeters

Welcome parishioners and visitors to all masses and present the gifts at the offertory.

Ushers

Assist with the collection and presentation of gifts at the offertory.

Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound and Nursing Home

Take Holy Communion, the bulletin, and the caring of the parish community to the homebound and those in the nursing home.

Cantors

Proclaim the Psalm in song and assist the community in singing the mass parts and hymns.

Keyboard Minister

Assist the community with keyboard accompaniment to the mass parts and hymns; assist at funerals and weddings

Stewardship

Altar Servers

Assist at the altar during celebrations; male or female; 4^th grade through adults—may be a family

Liturgy and Environment Planning

Assist in planning liturgical celebrations and providing seasonal and liturgy-specific environment for celebrations

Launder Church Linens and Servers Albs

Assist in washing and ironing purificators and corporals, washing hand towels, and maintaining servers albs.

Trained Prayer Leader

Lead Morning Prayer with Communion Services, Sunday Celebrations in the Absence of a Priest, Community Celebrations not requiring the presence of a priest (e.g.-All Souls Day Service, Ash Wednesday Service, Stations of the Cross).  They commit to ongoing faith and liturgical formation on a monthly basis.

Social Outreach and Prayer Ministry
Community Food Pantry

Volunteer to take contributions to the food pantry, assist those who need assistance, participate in meeting with the Ministerial Association periodically, assist in preparing holiday food baskets.  Our regular time at the Food Pantry is 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month and on the fifth Thursday on a rotating schedule with the other three churches.

Prayer Chain

Members call the next available member on the prayer chain to share prayer for those asking for prayers for special intention.

Altar Society

Members assist with planning, organizing and facilitating all parish functions (funerals, Generations of Faith, parish celebrations--e.g. First Communion, Confirmation, Graduation), the Community Fall Festival, and others.

Parish Hall Use

Mary keeps the calendar for gatherings in the Parish Hall and handles insurance agreements and fee information for those who wish to use the space for a function other than a parish gathering.

Buildings and Grounds Committee

Periodic workdays are planned with volunteers to attend to routine and seasonal maintenance.
