The Stewardship Council of Holy Rosary and the diocese hosted a prayer workshop on June 1st.  Kory Koralweski of the Stewardship and Development office of the diocese lead the day-long workshop.  We started off with Mass in the church followed by cinnamon rolls and fruit for a morning social.  Our first session focused on Lectio Divina and how to pray in this way followed by several video presentations from Matthew Kelly on how to focus on prayer, including the Prayer Process (a process to follow to pray).  Holy Rosary arranged to have Subway sandwiches brought in and provided salads and desserts.  There were approximately 35 participants from around the diocese.  The majority of attendees were from our parish.  There will be three more prayer workshops around the diocese.  Here are a few pictures from our day.
